What self-led health actually means
Self-led health is not doing it alone. It is holding the file. You know which root cause is driving your symptoms, which test proved it, which intervention is next and why — so no appointment is ever the only place your health exists.
The Belmar clinic taught us the failure mode of the opposite model. Patients came in stable and left dependent on a room. When the room closed, the progress closed with it. Everything built since is designed so the protocol lives in your house, in your hands, with the reasoning written down.

How the DNA precision program works
Blood finds what is there today. DNA explains whether it matters for you. The DNA precision program reads a hair sample across twelve dimensions — heavy metals, mycotoxins, parasites, nutrient gaps, and the epigenetic expression behind them — then writes the protocol from that result rather than from a category.

IWG opens in Belmar
Dr. Nicole Rivera and Dr. Nick Carruthers open Integrative Wellness Group in a Belmar storefront. The thesis: most NJ chronic illness wasn't being root-caused.
2015–2019
6,000 sq ft + 20 employees
The practice outgrows three locations and lands in its final 6,000 sq ft facility. Adjusting suites, infrared sauna, LLLT, ionic detox, movement studio, full lab. Patients in NJ + flying in from the US, EU, Australia, and Japan.
2017
The home-equipment company
We launch a sister company to ship AmpCoil, red light, brain entrainment, bioresonance, and foot-bath devices to long-distance patients. We discover virtual patients are outperforming the ones driving in weekly.
2021
Our son arrives
Running a 20+ employee NJ clinic while being present parents stops being sustainable. The virtual + home-equipment data is already pointing at the next model.
2022
Belmar closes — the practice doesn't
We close the brick-and-mortar and rebuild from scratch as a virtual concierge integrative medicine practice. Outcomes with focused founders and a tighter system are astounding.
2025
Foundation + DNA Precision open
Concierge worked, but the mission was always broader access. Foundation ($348/quarter) and DNA Precision bring the IWG model to families who couldn't have afforded the brick-and-mortar.
