    Unconventional Treatments for Stroke

    6 min webinar

When a stroke strikes, the conventional medical system often falls short, focusing on symptom management rather than true neurological and systemic repair. This BSB episode exposes the gaping holes in typical stroke rehab, which neglects the critical brain-body connection and the profound impact of emotional and cardiovascular health. We delve into the personal journey of navigating a hemorrhagic stroke, revealing how a lack of true neurological stimulation in rehab, coupled with an over-reliance on medication, leaves patients stuck. Discover the unconventional, root-cause strategies that can be a catalyst for healing, addressing not just the physical manifestation but the underlying mental, emotional, and physiological imbalances that contribute to such a catastrophic event. It's time to challenge the status quo and reclaim agency in recovery.

    What you'll learn

    • Conventional stroke rehab often misses the mark, neglecting true neurological repair.
    • The brain-body connection is foundational for healing from stroke and other dysfunctions.
    • Emotional and mental states, like feeling 'given up,' can manifest physically as a stroke.
    • Cardiovascular disease is a key root cause of strokes, often overlooked in rehab.
    • Integrative approaches focus on reducing inflammation and repairing neurological pathways.

    Questions answered

What is the primary goal of integrative stroke rehabilitation?
The goal is to rehabilitate the brain's connection to the body and the body's connection to the brain, rather than just strengthening muscles or avoiding atrophy.
How does the Thalamus relate to a stroke?
A stroke affecting the Thalamus, the brain's relay center, is associated with a conflict of giving up on life or not caring if one lives or dies.
What are some ways to reduce inflammation after a stroke?
Reducing inflammation can involve dietary changes like eliminating sugar and processed foods, and using supplements such as high-quality omega-3s, allicin (from garlic), spirulina, and chlorella.
How can breathing exercises help stroke recovery?
Breathwork like belly breathing and box breathing can help regulate the nervous system, shifting it from a fight-or-flight state to a parasympathetic rest and digest state, which is conducive to healing.
How can smell be used for brain activation in stroke rehabilitation?
Stimulating specific nostrils with scents (like an orange or essential oil) can activate corresponding brain hemispheres. For example, blocking the left nostril and smelling with the right activates the right cortex, while challenging the smell distance further strengthens the receptors.

So, episode of Integrative View Radio. So, episode of Integrative View Radio. So, essentially we are kind of diving into essentially we are kind of diving into essentially we are kind of diving into almost a part four of our series where almost a part four of our series where almost a part four of our series where we were talking a lot about um one of we were talking a lot about um one of we were talking a lot about um one of our recent experiences with my mom our recent experiences with my mom our recent experiences with my mom having a stroke, ending up in hospital, having a stroke, ending up in hospital, having a stroke, ending up in hospital, then ending up ending up in a rehab. And then ending up ending up in a rehab. And then ending up ending up in a rehab. And uh we feel like one of the important uh we feel like one of the important uh we feel like one of the important aspects that we want to bring to you is aspects that we want to bring to you is aspects that we want to bring to you is some of the more unconventional some of the more unconventional some of the more unconventional treatments that we have been treatments that we have been treatments that we have been administering I guess you can say with administering I guess you can say with administering I guess you can say with her or facilitating with her that have her or facilitating with her that have her or facilitating with her that have been a huge catalyst to her healing. And been a huge catalyst to her healing. And been a huge catalyst to her healing. And listen, we are we have a long road ahead listen, we are we have a long road ahead listen, we are we have a long road ahead of us, but we've seen some significant of us, but we've seen some significant of us, but we've seen some significant changes in a short amount of time uh changes in a short amount of time uh changes in a short amount of time uh with more of a unconventional and with more of a unconventional and with more of a unconventional and integrative approach. Um, I will lead integrative approach. Um, I will lead integrative approach. Um, I will lead with saying I I feel extremely with saying I I feel extremely with saying I I feel extremely disappointed in what disappointed in what disappointed in what quote unquote rehab looks like for these quote unquote rehab looks like for these quote unquote rehab looks like for these stroke patients because, you know, stroke patients because, you know, stroke patients because, you know, everyone has a different tolerance. I everyone has a different tolerance. I everyone has a different tolerance. I understand that. Um some you know you understand that. Um some you know you understand that. Um some you know you have to start slow but have to start slow but have to start slow but these were these were these were really really really for the data for the data that's out for the data for the data that's out for the data for the data that's out there to really support and challenge there to really support and challenge there to really support and challenge the nervous system which is the nervous system which is the nervous system which is incredible incredible incredible at healing at healing at healing it it it I wasn't surprised but I guess I was of I wasn't surprised but I guess I was of I wasn't surprised but I guess I was of how shitty the uh how shitty the uh how shitty the uh well I think therapy was well I think therapy was well I think therapy was it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't there was no um neurological approach to there was no um neurological approach to there was no um neurological approach to the rehab. This wasn't about actually the rehab. This wasn't about actually the rehab. This wasn't about actually rehabbing the brain and stimulating you rehabbing the brain and stimulating you rehabbing the brain and stimulating you know propriception like this was not know propriception like this was not know propriception like this was not about that. This was about getting her about that. This was about getting her about that. This was about getting her up out of a chair and seeing how long up out of a chair and seeing how long up out of a chair and seeing how long she can stand. she can stand. she can stand. Do you hear her? Our daughter Do you hear her? Our daughter Do you hear her? Our daughter That's hilarious. Um, our daughter is That's hilarious. Um, our daughter is That's hilarious. Um, our daughter is three months old and she doesn't cry. three months old and she doesn't cry. three months old and she doesn't cry. She just yells at you when she wants She just yells at you when she wants She just yells at you when she wants you. So, you. So, you. So, I have no idea where she got that trait. I have no idea where she got that trait. I have no idea where she got that trait. Yeah. So, anyway, Yeah. So, anyway, Yeah. So, anyway, um, so yeah. So I I think that this is um, so yeah. So I I think that this is um, so yeah. So I I think that this is um a really important factor for people um a really important factor for people um a really important factor for people to understand and and I say this to to understand and and I say this to to understand and and I say this to provide a level of hope and inspiration provide a level of hope and inspiration provide a level of hope and inspiration for for others because this isn't for for others because this isn't for for others because this isn't necessarily just about you know let's necessarily just about you know let's necessarily just about you know let's see if we can strengthen the muscles or see if we can strengthen the muscles or see if we can strengthen the muscles or let's avoid you know muscle atrophy let's avoid you know muscle atrophy let's avoid you know muscle atrophy which is a breakdown of the muscle. which is a breakdown of the muscle. which is a breakdown of the muscle. Let's see, you know, um how long a Let's see, you know, um how long a Let's see, you know, um how long a person can stand. person can stand. person can stand. Uh this is this is about rehabilitating Uh this is this is about rehabilitating Uh this is this is about rehabilitating the brain's connection to the body, the the brain's connection to the body, the the brain's connection to the body, the body's connection to the brain. And if body's connection to the brain. And if body's connection to the brain. And if I just want to interject really quick I just want to interject really quick I just want to interject really quick that what you said right there is that what you said right there is that what you said right there is getting the brain to connect back to the getting the brain to connect back to the getting the brain to connect back to the body. That's the foundation honestly of body. That's the foundation honestly of body. That's the foundation honestly of every disease. every disease. every disease. because all the information we we go if because all the information we we go if because all the information we we go if you have if you haven't listened to much you have if you haven't listened to much you have if you haven't listened to much of our podcast we go hard on the mental of our podcast we go hard on the mental of our podcast we go hard on the mental emotional because it's the mind that emotional because it's the mind that emotional because it's the mind that goes first and gets processed by the goes first and gets processed by the goes first and gets processed by the brain and then the brain literally brain and then the brain literally brain and then the brain literally dictates the control of the body dictates the control of the body dictates the control of the body and what's cool is that was proven by uh and what's cool is that was proven by uh and what's cool is that was proven by uh the gentleman who created new Germanic the gentleman who created new Germanic the gentleman who created new Germanic medicine he was able to look at medicine he was able to look at medicine he was able to look at someone's brain scan never talk to them someone's brain scan never talk to them someone's brain scan never talk to them not know anything about them. And he not know anything about them. And he not know anything about them. And he would know based off of the brain scan would know based off of the brain scan would know based off of the brain scan uh what was the conflict that they uh what was the conflict that they uh what was the conflict that they experienced. You can call the conflict experienced. You can call the conflict experienced. You can call the conflict trauma if you would like. And he would trauma if you would like. And he would trauma if you would like. And he would then be able to tell you the organs that then be able to tell you the organs that then be able to tell you the organs that were diseased or stressed based off of were diseased or stressed based off of were diseased or stressed based off of the brain and the conflict endured or the brain and the conflict endured or the brain and the conflict endured or experienced I should say. experienced I should say. experienced I should say. Yeah. Which is just amazing. So, I I Yeah. Which is just amazing. So, I I Yeah. Which is just amazing. So, I I guess I've said that to listen to this, guess I've said that to listen to this, guess I've said that to listen to this, we're going to be talking mainly about we're going to be talking mainly about we're going to be talking mainly about stroke because that's what we just stroke because that's what we just stroke because that's what we just experienced with your mom and talking experienced with your mom and talking experienced with your mom and talking about that process. But this is about that process. But this is about that process. But this is every every every dysfunction in the body. I want to say dysfunction in the body. I want to say dysfunction in the body. I want to say disease because, you know, even if disease because, you know, even if disease because, you know, even if somebody's healthy, you can always somebody's healthy, you can always somebody's healthy, you can always uplevel the function of the brain to uplevel the function of the brain to uplevel the function of the brain to better connect with the body. You know, better connect with the body. You know, better connect with the body. You know, it's that's what why I'm if you listen it's that's what why I'm if you listen it's that's what why I'm if you listen to our last podcast, that's why I look to our last podcast, that's why I look to our last podcast, that's why I look so weird exercising out back is that I'm so weird exercising out back is that I'm so weird exercising out back is that I'm constantly working on increasing that constantly working on increasing that constantly working on increasing that connection of the brain, body, energy, connection of the brain, body, energy, connection of the brain, body, energy, chakras, chakras, chakras, layers of your aura that get really layers of your aura that get really layers of your aura that get really freaking weird. So, [Music] [Music] [Music] But it's also too you know what we But it's also too you know what we But it's also too you know what we essentially experienced is she had a essentially experienced is she had a essentially experienced is she had a stroke. Um it was hemorrhagic. So there stroke. Um it was hemorrhagic. So there stroke. Um it was hemorrhagic. So there was a bleed in the brain. Uh this was was a bleed in the brain. Uh this was was a bleed in the brain. Uh this was affecting primarily the right side of affecting primarily the right side of affecting primarily the right side of the brain which affected the motor the brain which affected the motor the brain which affected the motor function of the left side of her body. function of the left side of her body. function of the left side of her body. Uh left arm and left leg were completely Uh left arm and left leg were completely Uh left arm and left leg were completely immobile. Not functioning at all. no no immobile. Not functioning at all. no no immobile. Not functioning at all. no no neurological connection. One thing that neurological connection. One thing that neurological connection. One thing that I want to add here is that um obviously I want to add here is that um obviously I want to add here is that um obviously when she was admitted to the hospital uh when she was admitted to the hospital uh when she was admitted to the hospital uh there was a CT scan done we they you there was a CT scan done we they you there was a CT scan done we they you know we needed to figure out was it know we needed to figure out was it know we needed to figure out was it hemorrhagic? Was there a bleed in the hemorrhagic? Was there a bleed in the hemorrhagic? Was there a bleed in the brain? And then where was it? Because brain? And then where was it? Because brain? And then where was it? Because that is significant because depending on that is significant because depending on that is significant because depending on where it affects the brain, it would where it affects the brain, it would where it affects the brain, it would dictate if it was completely loss of dictate if it was completely loss of dictate if it was completely loss of motor function, if this was going to motor function, if this was going to motor function, if this was going to affect her memory, if this was going to affect her memory, if this was going to affect her memory, if this was going to affect her personality, so on and so affect her personality, so on and so affect her personality, so on and so forth. And for her specifically, um she forth. And for her specifically, um she forth. And for her specifically, um she ended up having a ended up having a ended up having a uh the the bleeding uh affected her uh the the bleeding uh affected her uh the the bleeding uh affected her right side of her brain on the right right side of her brain on the right right side of her brain on the right hemisphere, but it also affected a part hemisphere, but it also affected a part hemisphere, but it also affected a part of the brain called the phalamus. When of the brain called the phalamus. When of the brain called the phalamus. When you get into the world of neuter you get into the world of neuter you get into the world of neuter dramatic medicine and you look at uh the dramatic medicine and you look at uh the dramatic medicine and you look at uh the representation of the phalamus being a representation of the phalamus being a representation of the phalamus being a relay center uh between the lyic center relay center uh between the lyic center relay center uh between the lyic center which is your emotional center and you which is your emotional center and you which is your emotional center and you know the the mental processing of those know the the mental processing of those know the the mental processing of those emotions. emotions. emotions. Uh essentially when someone has a stroke Uh essentially when someone has a stroke Uh essentially when someone has a stroke affecting the phalamus it's the conflict affecting the phalamus it's the conflict affecting the phalamus it's the conflict that it's associated with is when you that it's associated with is when you that it's associated with is when you give up. you give up on life and you give up. you give up on life and you give up. you give up on life and you don't care if you live or die. And the don't care if you live or die. And the don't care if you live or die. And the irony of that is when I was explaining irony of that is when I was explaining irony of that is when I was explaining this to my dad primarily because at in this to my dad primarily because at in this to my dad primarily because at in the very early stages, you know, my mom the very early stages, you know, my mom the very early stages, you know, my mom was not really very functional uh within was not really very functional uh within was not really very functional uh within the first week of this experience and I the first week of this experience and I the first week of this experience and I was explaining this to my dad and I was was explaining this to my dad and I was was explaining this to my dad and I was like, is there anything that I should like, is there anything that I should like, is there anything that I should know? And he's like, you know, she has know? And he's like, you know, she has know? And he's like, you know, she has been talking like this that she has been talking like this that she has been talking like this that she has given up. She doesn't care if she lives. given up. She doesn't care if she lives. given up. She doesn't care if she lives. She doesn't care if she's dead. you know She doesn't care if she's dead. you know She doesn't care if she's dead. you know she doesn't want to live this life she doesn't want to live this life she doesn't want to live this life anymore etc. So it is very interesting anymore etc. So it is very interesting anymore etc. So it is very interesting because you know your words are very because you know your words are very because you know your words are very powerful, your thoughts are very powerful, your thoughts are very powerful, your thoughts are very powerful and you know I think people powerful and you know I think people powerful and you know I think people don't realize that you know if you truly don't realize that you know if you truly don't realize that you know if you truly feel like I'm [  ] done with this feel like I'm [  ] done with this feel like I'm [  ] done with this life life life how that can manifest physically in the how that can manifest physically in the how that can manifest physically in the body and you know seeing this one seeing body and you know seeing this one seeing body and you know seeing this one seeing not this specific situation but seeing not this specific situation but seeing not this specific situation but seeing these different patterns over the 15 these different patterns over the 15 these different patterns over the 15 years that we've been working clinically years that we've been working clinically years that we've been working clinically But then you know seeing this this But then you know seeing this this But then you know seeing this this direct correlation direct correlation direct correlation uh with her as well and you know and I uh with her as well and you know and I uh with her as well and you know and I think another thing that people don't think another thing that people don't think another thing that people don't realize with a stroke like this is realize with a stroke like this is realize with a stroke like this is cardiovascular disease like this is this cardiovascular disease like this is this cardiovascular disease like this is this is cardiovascular disease that reached a is cardiovascular disease that reached a is cardiovascular disease that reached a tipping point that the body couldn't tipping point that the body couldn't tipping point that the body couldn't it just couldn't take anymore and it it just couldn't take anymore and it it just couldn't take anymore and it then creates this manifestation of a then creates this manifestation of a then creates this manifestation of a stroke. stroke. stroke. And so, you know, this is one of the And so, you know, this is one of the And so, you know, this is one of the reasons why the automatic thing they did reasons why the automatic thing they did reasons why the automatic thing they did in the hospital is check her blood in the hospital is check her blood in the hospital is check her blood pressure, put her on blood pressure pressure, put her on blood pressure pressure, put her on blood pressure medication, put her prophylactically on medication, put her prophylactically on medication, put her prophylactically on blood thinners because it's a blood thinners because it's a blood thinners because it's a cardiovascular cardiovascular cardiovascular situation. It's a cardiovascular situation. It's a cardiovascular situation. It's a cardiovascular manifestation when the body just reaches manifestation when the body just reaches manifestation when the body just reaches that threshold that that threshold that that threshold that it it can't take anymore. it it can't take anymore. it it can't take anymore. And so And so And so really what it comes down to for for her really what it comes down to for for her really what it comes down to for for her that this is not just about helping her that this is not just about helping her that this is not just about helping her create that mindbody connection and create that mindbody connection and create that mindbody connection and repair the the neurological connection, repair the the neurological connection, repair the the neurological connection, but this is also about helping from the but this is also about helping from the but this is also about helping from the cardiovascular cardiovascular cardiovascular perspective. perspective. perspective. And so these are two factors that were And so these are two factors that were And so these are two factors that were not necessarily being treated in in the hospital being treated in in the hospital being treated in in the hospital setting. Like I said, it was medication. setting. Like I said, it was medication. setting. Like I said, it was medication. You know, let's make sure that we You know, let's make sure that we You know, let's make sure that we control the blood pressure so we don't control the blood pressure so we don't control the blood pressure so we don't have another stroke. But there was no have another stroke. But there was no have another stroke. But there was no long-term solutions as to, you know, long-term solutions as to, you know, long-term solutions as to, you know, what can we be doing to decrease the what can we be doing to decrease the what can we be doing to decrease the inflammation in the body to help get the inflammation in the body to help get the inflammation in the body to help get the blood pressure to a place that it blood pressure to a place that it blood pressure to a place that it doesn't it it could be regulated without doesn't it it could be regulated without doesn't it it could be regulated without medication. That's not necessarily the medication. That's not necessarily the medication. That's not necessarily the way they're looking at it. They're just way they're looking at it. They're just way they're looking at it. They're just looking at it of how do we make sure looking at it of how do we make sure looking at it of how do we make sure this person doesn't have another stroke, this person doesn't have another stroke, this person doesn't have another stroke, stay on blood pressure medication for stay on blood pressure medication for stay on blood pressure medication for the rest of your life, and stay on blood the rest of your life, and stay on blood the rest of your life, and stay on blood thinners for the rest of your life. thinners for the rest of your life. thinners for the rest of your life. Don't get me wrong, there was a variety Don't get me wrong, there was a variety Don't get me wrong, there was a variety of other medications that uh were of other medications that uh were of other medications that uh were recommended, but because we were helping recommended, but because we were helping recommended, but because we were helping with the case management, we denied a with the case management, we denied a with the case management, we denied a large portion of those medications large portion of those medications large portion of those medications because they weren't necessary. Some of because they weren't necessary. Some of because they weren't necessary. Some of the medications were even the medications were even the medications were even contraindicated to stroke. Um, contraindicated to stroke. Um, contraindicated to stroke. Um, and that that's kind of that's one of and that that's kind of that's one of and that that's kind of that's one of the topics that we talked about a lot in the topics that we talked about a lot in the topics that we talked about a lot in our previous podcast. If you uh want to our previous podcast. If you uh want to our previous podcast. If you uh want to listen in on how to really navigate listen in on how to really navigate listen in on how to really navigate hospital emergency room type settings, hospital emergency room type settings, hospital emergency room type settings, you need to listen to part two, which is you need to listen to part two, which is you need to listen to part two, which is all about um being your either your own all about um being your either your own all about um being your either your own advocate or needing an advocate when advocate or needing an advocate when advocate or needing an advocate when you're in a hospital setting, knowing you're in a hospital setting, knowing you're in a hospital setting, knowing what to ask, knowing what your options what to ask, knowing what your options what to ask, knowing what your options are. Uh because are. Uh because are. Uh because things can go real bad if you don't have things can go real bad if you don't have things can go real bad if you don't have that knowledge or the confidence to ask that knowledge or the confidence to ask that knowledge or the confidence to ask better questions. better questions. better questions. So, let's bring some light into this and So, let's bring some light into this and So, let's bring some light into this and start chatting a little bit about some start chatting a little bit about some start chatting a little bit about some of the of the of the things people can do at home. things people can do at home. things people can do at home. Mhm. Yeah. Mhm. Yeah. Mhm. Yeah. And some of them will be easy, some of And some of them will be easy, some of And some of them will be easy, some of them um will probably, you know, you can them um will probably, you know, you can them um will probably, you know, you can do for free and some of them will be do for free and some of them will be do for free and some of them will be with some devices like, you know, red with some devices like, you know, red with some devices like, you know, red lights, etc., PMF devices. I think um lights, etc., PMF devices. I think um lights, etc., PMF devices. I think um you know getting down to the foundation you know getting down to the foundation you know getting down to the foundation of it, the thing that of it, the thing that of it, the thing that I was most disappointed in is that I was most disappointed in is that I was most disappointed in is that functional neurology uh part, you know, functional neurology uh part, you know, functional neurology uh part, you know, that they were just having her like, that they were just having her like, that they were just having her like, "All right, stand up. Try to take a "All right, stand up. Try to take a "All right, stand up. Try to take a step. Stand up. Stand as long as you step. Stand up. Stand as long as you step. Stand up. Stand as long as you can. Sit down. Take a break. Do that can. Sit down. Take a break. Do that can. Sit down. Take a break. Do that again." Um, again." Um, again." Um, you know, not that that's bad, but it's you know, not that that's bad, but it's you know, not that that's bad, but it's just pretty shitty when that's your your just pretty shitty when that's your your just pretty shitty when that's your your rehab process. Um, you know, rehab process. Um, you know, rehab process. Um, you know, let's talk about the rehab. I would love let's talk about the rehab. I would love let's talk about the rehab. I would love to just set the foundation though about to just set the foundation though about to just set the foundation though about the the cardiovascular part. And I and I the the cardiovascular part. And I and I the the cardiovascular part. And I and I say this primarily because you and I say this primarily because you and I say this primarily because you and I both know that if the inflammation stays both know that if the inflammation stays both know that if the inflammation stays high, which high blood pressure is high, which high blood pressure is high, which high blood pressure is essentially an inflammatory condition, essentially an inflammatory condition, essentially an inflammatory condition, you're also going going to have lack of you're also going going to have lack of you're also going going to have lack of oxygenation to the neurological system oxygenation to the neurological system oxygenation to the neurological system and you're going to have inflammation in and you're going to have inflammation in and you're going to have inflammation in the brain and the nerves. So that's the brain and the nerves. So that's the brain and the nerves. So that's going to make your neurological re going to make your neurological re going to make your neurological re rehabilitation more difficult. And so a rehabilitation more difficult. And so a rehabilitation more difficult. And so a lot of people don't know this, but uh lot of people don't know this, but uh lot of people don't know this, but uh garlic is actually one of the most garlic is actually one of the most garlic is actually one of the most potent blood thinners uh out there. So potent blood thinners uh out there. So potent blood thinners uh out there. So this is you could consume raw garlic. this is you could consume raw garlic. this is you could consume raw garlic. You can also take garlic supplements. Um You can also take garlic supplements. Um You can also take garlic supplements. Um but this is definitely something that but this is definitely something that but this is definitely something that you have to control. Everyone is you have to control. Everyone is you have to control. Everyone is definitely going to look different, but definitely going to look different, but definitely going to look different, but the moral of the story is is you have to the moral of the story is is you have to the moral of the story is is you have to decrease inflammation in the body. So, decrease inflammation in the body. So, decrease inflammation in the body. So, if that's taking out sugar, um, if that's taking out sugar, um, if that's taking out sugar, um, processed foods, inflammatory foods, and processed foods, inflammatory foods, and processed foods, inflammatory foods, and trying to get this person, you know, trying to get this person, you know, trying to get this person, you know, especially with a stroke patient, they especially with a stroke patient, they especially with a stroke patient, they might have paralysis on start part of might have paralysis on start part of might have paralysis on start part of their face. getting them to drink like a their face. getting them to drink like a their face. getting them to drink like a nutrient-dense smoothie and have them on nutrient-dense smoothie and have them on nutrient-dense smoothie and have them on that, you know, drinking it out of a that, you know, drinking it out of a that, you know, drinking it out of a straw for a period of time and having straw for a period of time and having straw for a period of time and having them mainly that be their primary form them mainly that be their primary form them mainly that be their primary form of of food or making them a soup that's of of food or making them a soup that's of of food or making them a soup that's all whole foods based and so that you all whole foods based and so that you all whole foods based and so that you can take the foods out that are causing can take the foods out that are causing can take the foods out that are causing inflammation. You can also leverage like inflammation. You can also leverage like inflammation. You can also leverage like high doses of omega-3s, not from Costco. high doses of omega-3s, not from Costco. high doses of omega-3s, not from Costco. Please, guys. Jesus. Please, guys. Jesus. Please, guys. Jesus. Quality omega-3s Quality omega-3s Quality omega-3s in order to decrease inflammation. in order to decrease inflammation. in order to decrease inflammation. Taking a po high potency allisonin. It's Taking a po high potency allisonin. It's Taking a po high potency allisonin. It's a L l i c i n uh which is a garlic a L l i c i n uh which is a garlic a L l i c i n uh which is a garlic supplement. These are things that you supplement. These are things that you supplement. These are things that you can do. I always recommend getting can do. I always recommend getting can do. I always recommend getting testing, working with a doctor, etc. testing, working with a doctor, etc. testing, working with a doctor, etc. Spiralina, chlorella, Spiralina, chlorella, Spiralina, chlorella, spirulina. These are all things that can spirulina. These are all things that can spirulina. These are all things that can helpers helpers helpers with the inflammation. But of course, with the inflammation. But of course, with the inflammation. But of course, you can take these different you can take these different you can take these different supplements, but if you're [  ] supplements, but if you're [  ] supplements, but if you're [  ] eating like [  ] eating hospital food, eating like [  ] eating hospital food, eating like [  ] eating hospital food, you know, you're you're going to have a you know, you're you're going to have a you know, you're you're going to have a push and pull situation. Um, one of the push and pull situation. Um, one of the push and pull situation. Um, one of the things that we use regularly, which this things that we use regularly, which this things that we use regularly, which this is kind of a great device because you is kind of a great device because you is kind of a great device because you can use it for inflammation, you can can use it for inflammation, you can can use it for inflammation, you can also use it for the neurological rehab, also use it for the neurological rehab, also use it for the neurological rehab, which we're going to talk about, is the which we're going to talk about, is the which we're going to talk about, is the AMP coil, which is a PEMF device. And AMP coil, which is a PEMF device. And AMP coil, which is a PEMF device. And the amp coil, one of their new programs the amp coil, one of their new programs the amp coil, one of their new programs is um inflammatory based. What is it is um inflammatory based. What is it is um inflammatory based. What is it called? Inflammicare. called? Inflammicare. called? Inflammicare. I don't recall. I can look it up. I don't recall. I can look it up. I don't recall. I can look it up. Yeah. But it's it's a specific program Yeah. But it's it's a specific program Yeah. But it's it's a specific program to decrease inflammation in the body. to decrease inflammation in the body. to decrease inflammation in the body. And so fortunately, my parents have an And so fortunately, my parents have an And so fortunately, my parents have an amp coil, so we've had them using that. amp coil, so we've had them using that. amp coil, so we've had them using that. Um but even too, inflammicare is Um but even too, inflammicare is Um but even too, inflammicare is actually the name of a supplement. So actually the name of a supplement. So actually the name of a supplement. So there, even if you're like, I don't know there, even if you're like, I don't know there, even if you're like, I don't know what half their [  ] is, you can go on a what half their [  ] is, you can go on a what half their [  ] is, you can go on a platform like Full Scripts, which is a a platform like Full Scripts, which is a a platform like Full Scripts, which is a a supplement dispensary, and you could supplement dispensary, and you could supplement dispensary, and you could even talk to one of the practitioners at even talk to one of the practitioners at even talk to one of the practitioners at Full Scripts, and you could just say, I Full Scripts, and you could just say, I Full Scripts, and you could just say, I need something for inflammation. There need something for inflammation. There need something for inflammation. There are all these different supplement are all these different supplement are all these different supplement complexes, aka there's a bunch of complexes, aka there's a bunch of complexes, aka there's a bunch of different herbs, ingredients in them different herbs, ingredients in them different herbs, ingredients in them that are for inflammation, bosillia, that are for inflammation, bosillia, that are for inflammation, bosillia, things like that. So essentially, you things like that. So essentially, you things like that. So essentially, you have to deal with that first. you have have to deal with that first. you have have to deal with that first. you have to get the inflammation down and then to get the inflammation down and then to get the inflammation down and then you're going to see a lot more um I you're going to see a lot more um I you're going to see a lot more um I don't want to say more success with the don't want to say more success with the don't want to say more success with the neurological rehab. You're you're you're neurological rehab. You're you're you're neurological rehab. You're you're you're definitely going to see more success, definitely going to see more success, definitely going to see more success, but you're going to see it happen more but you're going to see it happen more but you're going to see it happen more easily and quicker. easily and quicker. easily and quicker. More success. More success. More success. More success. Yeah. More success. Yeah. More success. Yeah. And I'd say a transition also, you know, And I'd say a transition also, you know, And I'd say a transition also, you know, working on the body because the body has working on the body because the body has working on the body because the body has so much dysfunction. um going in that so much dysfunction. um going in that so much dysfunction. um going in that reverse aspect of working on the reverse aspect of working on the reverse aspect of working on the biochemistry biochemistry biochemistry um into the neurology is breath work. um into the neurology is breath work. um into the neurology is breath work. You know, you the thing is with neural You know, you the thing is with neural You know, you the thing is with neural rehab is you want to be able to rehab is you want to be able to rehab is you want to be able to do as much as possible without overly do as much as possible without overly do as much as possible without overly stressing the system cuz you don't want stressing the system cuz you don't want stressing the system cuz you don't want to break the system down um even more, to break the system down um even more, to break the system down um even more, which is kind of the the downside of, which is kind of the the downside of, which is kind of the the downside of, you know, stand up like that. That's a you know, stand up like that. That's a you know, stand up like that. That's a lot of stress, a lot of energy. they're lot of stress, a lot of energy. they're lot of stress, a lot of energy. they're only going to be able to do that for so only going to be able to do that for so only going to be able to do that for so long, which doesn't give them uh a good long, which doesn't give them uh a good long, which doesn't give them uh a good duration to be able to reprogram and duration to be able to reprogram and duration to be able to reprogram and kind of reboot the nervous system. So, kind of reboot the nervous system. So, kind of reboot the nervous system. So, breathing is actually a simple thing breathing is actually a simple thing breathing is actually a simple thing that affects your nervous system, that affects your nervous system, that affects your nervous system, affects whether your nervous system is affects whether your nervous system is affects whether your nervous system is parasympathetic or sympathetic. So you parasympathetic or sympathetic. So you parasympathetic or sympathetic. So you can do um even throughout the day just can do um even throughout the day just can do um even throughout the day just kind of focus on getting that fight or kind of focus on getting that fight or kind of focus on getting that fight or flight back into a parasympathetic rest flight back into a parasympathetic rest flight back into a parasympathetic rest and digest to be able to heal which you and digest to be able to heal which you and digest to be able to heal which you know the easiest one is just belly know the easiest one is just belly know the easiest one is just belly breathing. breathing. breathing. And another easy one is making sure like And another easy one is making sure like And another easy one is making sure like anytime that we are stressed or in an anytime that we are stressed or in an anytime that we are stressed or in an event that's stressed our breathing will event that's stressed our breathing will event that's stressed our breathing will change and the the ratio from inhale to change and the the ratio from inhale to change and the the ratio from inhale to exhale is going to be imbalanced. So exhale is going to be imbalanced. So exhale is going to be imbalanced. So another easy one is just called box another easy one is just called box another easy one is just called box breathing where you know you breath in breathing where you know you breath in breathing where you know you breath in let's say it's you know 5 seconds you let's say it's you know 5 seconds you let's say it's you know 5 seconds you hold for 5 seconds breath out for 5 hold for 5 seconds breath out for 5 hold for 5 seconds breath out for 5 seconds hold for 5 seconds and repeat seconds hold for 5 seconds and repeat seconds hold for 5 seconds and repeat that box. that box. that box. Mhm. that it's just a 5-second. Mhm. that it's just a 5-second. Mhm. that it's just a 5-second. And we're not saying that this is easy And we're not saying that this is easy And we're not saying that this is easy for someone who just endured a stroke, for someone who just endured a stroke, for someone who just endured a stroke, but something is better than nothing but something is better than nothing but something is better than nothing because an example is we're talking because an example is we're talking because an example is we're talking about an amp coil. An amp coil is about about an amp coil. An amp coil is about about an amp coil. An amp coil is about $8,000. So, not everyone's going out and $8,000. So, not everyone's going out and $8,000. So, not everyone's going out and buying an amp coil in order to help buying an amp coil in order to help buying an amp coil in order to help regulate the nervous system. So, we're regulate the nervous system. So, we're regulate the nervous system. So, we're trying to help you understand that you trying to help you understand that you trying to help you understand that you can also do things that are completely can also do things that are completely can also do things that are completely free, which are, you know, go on free, which are, you know, go on free, which are, you know, go on YouTube, look up how to do box YouTube, look up how to do box YouTube, look up how to do box breathing, belly breathing, and that is breathing, belly breathing, and that is breathing, belly breathing, and that is something that you can help a person do something that you can help a person do something that you can help a person do that will help regulate their nervous that will help regulate their nervous that will help regulate their nervous system as well. system as well. system as well. And another very simple, lowcost thing, And another very simple, lowcost thing, And another very simple, lowcost thing, almost free, is smell. So your right almost free, is smell. So your right almost free, is smell. So your right nostril is connected to the right nostril is connected to the right nostril is connected to the right cortex. Left nostril is connected to the cortex. Left nostril is connected to the cortex. Left nostril is connected to the left cortex. An easy way to stimulate left cortex. An easy way to stimulate left cortex. An easy way to stimulate that right cortex is to block your left that right cortex is to block your left that right cortex is to block your left nostril so you can't smell through it nostril so you can't smell through it nostril so you can't smell through it and get like an essential oil. and get like an essential oil. and get like an essential oil. That's too expensive. Grab an orange, That's too expensive. Grab an orange, That's too expensive. Grab an orange, cut it, smell it. And the the exercise cut it, smell it. And the the exercise cut it, smell it. And the the exercise is to create a challenge. So you want to is to create a challenge. So you want to is to create a challenge. So you want to start with it as very close up to the in start with it as very close up to the in start with it as very close up to the in this case the right nostril, the left this case the right nostril, the left this case the right nostril, the left nostril block. So you can only smell. nostril block. So you can only smell. nostril block. So you can only smell. Hence, you're activating the sensory Hence, you're activating the sensory Hence, you're activating the sensory receptors in that right cortex. And then receptors in that right cortex. And then receptors in that right cortex. And then you want to see how far away you can you want to see how far away you can you want to see how far away you can actually take that oil or that orange actually take that oil or that orange actually take that oil or that orange and still smell it. So you're and still smell it. So you're and still smell it. So you're challenging the smell receptors by challenging the smell receptors by challenging the smell receptors by making it more difficult to smell. making it more difficult to smell. making it more difficult to smell. And then you want to go out as far as And then you want to go out as far as And then you want to go out as far as you can, take a break. That's one set. you can, take a break. That's one set. you can, take a break. That's one set. And then do it again. And the challenge And then do it again. And the challenge And then do it again. And the challenge is to get farther and farther and is to get farther and farther and is to get farther and farther and farther away each time you do it. Hence, farther away each time you do it. Hence, farther away each time you do it. Hence, you're strengthening that right cortex. you're strengthening that right cortex. you're strengthening that right cortex. They're not moving. It's not that much They're not moving. It's not that much They're not moving. It's not that much energy. It's something you can do more energy. It's something you can do more energy. It's something you can do more often throughout the day and not burn often throughout the day and not burn often throughout the day and not burn your nervous system out. So, you're your nervous system out. So, you're your nervous system out. So, you're reprogramming it. You're going to get reprogramming it. You're going to get reprogramming it. You're going to get results quicker results quicker results quicker because you're exercising more. And this because you're exercising more. And this because you're exercising more. And this is I mean, it seems like common sense to is I mean, it seems like common sense to is I mean, it seems like common sense to me, which is why I was actually kind of me, which is why I was actually kind of me, which is why I was actually kind of pissed off of, you know, the rehab that pissed off of, you know, the rehab that pissed off of, you know, the rehab that she's receiving. she's receiving. she's receiving. But there's just so many things like you But there's just so many things like you But there's just so many things like you know we talked you talked about it a know we talked you talked about it a know we talked you talked about it a little bit last time is like almost little bit last time is like almost little bit last time is like almost every athlete now even high school every athlete now even high school every athlete now even high school athletes are being taught to visualize. athletes are being taught to visualize. athletes are being taught to visualize. You know initially it was study done by You know initially it was study done by You know initially it was study done by the Russians and the Olympic teams and the Russians and the Olympic teams and the Russians and the Olympic teams and now it's understand like you can get now it's understand like you can get now it's understand like you can get better results through visualizing better results through visualizing better results through visualizing what you want to do. what you want to do. what you want to do. Yeah. So she can lay in bed and Yeah. So she can lay in bed and Yeah. So she can lay in bed and visualize visualize visualize her leg moving, her arm moving, her leg her leg moving, her arm moving, her leg her leg moving, her arm moving, her leg moving. moving. moving. And what's even crazier about that is it And what's even crazier about that is it And what's even crazier about that is it it's not exactly what you do. It's how it's not exactly what you do. It's how it's not exactly what you do. It's how you do it. It's more important. So yeah, you do it. It's more important. So yeah, you do it. It's more important. So yeah, you can you can visualize moving, but you can you can visualize moving, but you can you can visualize moving, but it's also part of function neurology is it's also part of function neurology is it's also part of function neurology is knowing that you can activate more parts knowing that you can activate more parts knowing that you can activate more parts of the brain with the smaller joints of the brain with the smaller joints of the brain with the smaller joints that are being activated. So the smaller that are being activated. So the smaller that are being activated. So the smaller the joint, the more the propriception, the joint, the more the propriception, the joint, the more the propriception, the more body awareness, the more the more body awareness, the more the more body awareness, the more activation to the brain. activation to the brain. activation to the brain. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So she could just picture each toe So she could just picture each toe So she could just picture each toe moving individually. moving individually. moving individually. Mhm. Mhm. Mhm. And that's just visualization. And just And that's just visualization. And just And that's just visualization. And just go like, oh, there's my pinky toe doing go like, oh, there's my pinky toe doing go like, oh, there's my pinky toe doing figure eights doing going through the figure eights doing going through the figure eights doing going through the alphabet. Go to the next toe and then alphabet. Go to the next toe and then alphabet. Go to the next toe and then she can actually do that physically. she can actually do that physically. she can actually do that physically. Let's try just to move my pinky toe. Let's try just to move my pinky toe. Let's try just to move my pinky toe. That's actually That's actually That's actually exactly what ended up happening is that exactly what ended up happening is that exactly what ended up happening is that that's actually the the toes and the that's actually the the toes and the that's actually the the toes and the hand the fingers that's actually the hand the fingers that's actually the hand the fingers that's actually the foundation of what's called field in foundation of what's called field in foundation of what's called field in Christ which is a technique um to Christ which is a technique um to Christ which is a technique um to reconnect the brain the body and it's reconnect the brain the body and it's reconnect the brain the body and it's all done through the science of moving all done through the science of moving all done through the science of moving these small joints as small specific um these small joints as small specific um these small joints as small specific um motions because it activates the largest motions because it activates the largest motions because it activates the largest more parts of the brain. Well, before more parts of the brain. Well, before more parts of the brain. Well, before she even started doing the the mobiliz she even started doing the the mobiliz she even started doing the the mobiliz or the visualization to the mobilization or the visualization to the mobilization or the visualization to the mobilization of the the feet hand is we also uh were of the the feet hand is we also uh were of the the feet hand is we also uh were having my dad put um the flex beam having my dad put um the flex beam having my dad put um the flex beam infrared red light on the palm of the infrared red light on the palm of the infrared red light on the palm of the hand and the foot um specifically on the hand and the foot um specifically on the hand and the foot um specifically on the left side in order to create um you know left side in order to create um you know left side in order to create um you know a neurological uh influx from the a neurological uh influx from the a neurological uh influx from the propriceptors from the hand up to the propriceptors from the hand up to the propriceptors from the hand up to the brain. brain. brain. So we were trying to do you know when So we were trying to do you know when So we were trying to do you know when she was in especially within the first she was in especially within the first she was in especially within the first week when she was really incapacitated week when she was really incapacitated week when she was really incapacitated and you know uh having trying to have and you know uh having trying to have and you know uh having trying to have her brain just calm down from having a her brain just calm down from having a her brain just calm down from having a bleed. You know we were like what are bleed. You know we were like what are bleed. You know we were like what are some of the easiest things that we can some of the easiest things that we can some of the easiest things that we can do to help in this neurological do to help in this neurological do to help in this neurological recovery? And that's was one of the recovery? And that's was one of the recovery? And that's was one of the things that we did was the red light things that we did was the red light things that we did was the red light therapy. And if you have a different therapy. And if you have a different therapy. And if you have a different type of unit, um the I'm forgetting the type of unit, um the I'm forgetting the type of unit, um the I'm forgetting the name of name of name of I mean any red light's going to be great I mean any red light's going to be great I mean any red light's going to be great like but there's like but there's like but there's there's the active activation and there's the active activation and there's the active activation and there's passive activation. there's passive activation. there's passive activation. So you can have her laying there and you So you can have her laying there and you So you can have her laying there and you can have somebody wiggling each toe. can have somebody wiggling each toe. can have somebody wiggling each toe. Yes, Yes, Yes, you can have somebody moving the ankle you can have somebody moving the ankle you can have somebody moving the ankle in figure8s and ABCs. You can have in figure8s and ABCs. You can have in figure8s and ABCs. You can have somebody moving the entire hip and the somebody moving the entire hip and the somebody moving the entire hip and the leg while tapping that right cortex leg while tapping that right cortex leg while tapping that right cortex to get everything saying, "Hey yo, wake to get everything saying, "Hey yo, wake to get everything saying, "Hey yo, wake up here. Oh, I'm moving over here. Let's up here. Oh, I'm moving over here. Let's up here. Oh, I'm moving over here. Let's connect it." Like, there's so many free connect it." Like, there's so many free connect it." Like, there's so many free simple things out there that one can do simple things out there that one can do simple things out there that one can do to create the activation. to create the activation. to create the activation. It's It's just insane. This is just for It's It's just insane. This is just for It's It's just insane. This is just for a stroke. Like, there's things you can a stroke. Like, there's things you can a stroke. Like, there's things you can do for the Vegas nerve to activate the do for the Vegas nerve to activate the do for the Vegas nerve to activate the gut brain. I think one of the things we gut brain. I think one of the things we gut brain. I think one of the things we had to do was the headphones if you want had to do was the headphones if you want had to do was the headphones if you want to mention that about the you know to mention that about the you know to mention that about the you know particular types of music that benefit particular types of music that benefit particular types of music that benefit hemisphere to hemisphere. hemisphere to hemisphere. hemisphere to hemisphere. Yeah. It's uh I mean the the left brain Yeah. It's uh I mean the the left brain Yeah. It's uh I mean the the left brain likes to party. Um so everything you likes to party. Um so everything you likes to party. Um so everything you listen to your right ear actually goes listen to your right ear actually goes listen to your right ear actually goes and activates the left brain. So when and activates the left brain. So when and activates the left brain. So when you listen and you want to activate you listen and you want to activate you listen and you want to activate left, you want to listen to like left, you want to listen to like left, you want to listen to like hip-hop, pop music, um hip-hop, pop music, um hip-hop, pop music, um dance music, dance music, dance music, dance music, and that's only going to be dance music, and that's only going to be dance music, and that's only going to be through the right ear. And that will through the right ear. And that will through the right ear. And that will activate left brain. If you want to activate left brain. If you want to activate left brain. If you want to activate the right, that's going to be activate the right, that's going to be activate the right, that's going to be like your classical music, um Mozart, like your classical music, um Mozart, like your classical music, um Mozart, Boach, etc. And you're listening to that Boach, etc. And you're listening to that Boach, etc. And you're listening to that in the left ear because everything you in the left ear because everything you in the left ear because everything you listen in the left ear goes to activate listen in the left ear goes to activate listen in the left ear goes to activate your right cortex. So there's just it's your right cortex. So there's just it's your right cortex. So there's just it's mind-blowing how much one can do that's mind-blowing how much one can do that's mind-blowing how much one can do that's free. I mean, you don't have to spend free. I mean, you don't have to spend free. I mean, you don't have to spend money for an amp coil and a red light money for an amp coil and a red light money for an amp coil and a red light and all these things and you'll still and all these things and you'll still and all these things and you'll still get amazing results. And this is for get amazing results. And this is for get amazing results. And this is for stroke, but anytime there's an issue in stroke, but anytime there's an issue in stroke, but anytime there's an issue in the body, there's a fight between the the body, there's a fight between the the body, there's a fight between the left brain and right brain, left brain and right brain, left brain and right brain, you know. So, so balancing the brain out you know. So, so balancing the brain out you know. So, so balancing the brain out is is is needed in every disease, in every issue needed in every disease, in every issue needed in every disease, in every issue because there's there's a polarization because there's there's a polarization because there's there's a polarization of the mind. There's a split of the of the mind. There's a split of the of the mind. There's a split of the mind. Hence the the brain becomes split. mind. Hence the the brain becomes split. mind. Hence the the brain becomes split. The brain becomes imbalanced The brain becomes imbalanced The brain becomes imbalanced and depending on you know what that and depending on you know what that and depending on you know what that imbalance is it's going to show up in imbalance is it's going to show up in imbalance is it's going to show up in different diseases. This one showed up different diseases. This one showed up different diseases. This one showed up in the form of a stroke. in the form of a stroke. in the form of a stroke. Yeah. No 100%. It of course you know the Yeah. No 100%. It of course you know the Yeah. No 100%. It of course you know the if you are leveraging some of these if you are leveraging some of these if you are leveraging some of these techniques like the breathing techniques like the breathing techniques like the breathing and um you know the stimulation of smell and um you know the stimulation of smell and um you know the stimulation of smell which is stimulation of the cranial which is stimulation of the cranial which is stimulation of the cranial nerves. you know, you're using sound and nerves. you know, you're using sound and nerves. you know, you're using sound and music for hemisphere simulation, music for hemisphere simulation, music for hemisphere simulation, um, and you feel like you get stuck, um, and you feel like you get stuck, um, and you feel like you get stuck, don't be disappointed with it because don't be disappointed with it because don't be disappointed with it because there are obviously more powerful tools there are obviously more powerful tools there are obviously more powerful tools out there like, you know, some of the out there like, you know, some of the out there like, you know, some of the ones that we've mentioned. But ones that we've mentioned. But ones that we've mentioned. But essentially, you know, there's we don't essentially, you know, there's we don't essentially, you know, there's we don't have to look at it from the perspective, have to look at it from the perspective, have to look at it from the perspective, especially when a stroke just happens, especially when a stroke just happens, especially when a stroke just happens, is like we have to just leave everything is like we have to just leave everything is like we have to just leave everything in the hands of conventional medicine in the hands of conventional medicine in the hands of conventional medicine because this is a crisis and there's because this is a crisis and there's because this is a crisis and there's nothing we can do. That's not true. the nothing we can do. That's not true. the nothing we can do. That's not true. the the sooner that you're you start to the sooner that you're you start to the sooner that you're you start to stimulate that part of the brain and stimulate that part of the brain and stimulate that part of the brain and also help with the inflammation, the the also help with the inflammation, the the also help with the inflammation, the the better the outcomes will be. So, you better the outcomes will be. So, you better the outcomes will be. So, you know, when everything happened, we know, when everything happened, we know, when everything happened, we primarily, you know, were working with primarily, you know, were working with primarily, you know, were working with my dad and said, you know, we need to my dad and said, you know, we need to my dad and said, you know, we need to get the the flex beam red light in get the the flex beam red light in get the the flex beam red light in there. Um, and I we need you to be there. Um, and I we need you to be there. Um, and I we need you to be mobilizing the the side of the body that mobilizing the the side of the body that mobilizing the the side of the body that is, you know, having motor dysfunction. is, you know, having motor dysfunction. is, you know, having motor dysfunction. And that was, you know, one, we don't And that was, you know, one, we don't And that was, you know, one, we don't want any blood clots to form. And then want any blood clots to form. And then want any blood clots to form. And then two is the more that you move it, the two is the more that you move it, the two is the more that you move it, the more stimulation you're going to have to more stimulation you're going to have to more stimulation you're going to have to that, you know, cortex that was damaged that, you know, cortex that was damaged that, you know, cortex that was damaged from the actual bleed. And so, you know, from the actual bleed. And so, you know, from the actual bleed. And so, you know, what's amazing is that um later we what's amazing is that um later we what's amazing is that um later we finally got her to start some things finally got her to start some things finally got her to start some things that are more in the supplement arena. that are more in the supplement arena. that are more in the supplement arena. Um she dropped her inflammation because Um she dropped her inflammation because Um she dropped her inflammation because she actually didn't want to eat. Uh and she actually didn't want to eat. Uh and she actually didn't want to eat. Uh and everyone was panicking about it and I everyone was panicking about it and I everyone was panicking about it and I just was like, she's going to be okay. just was like, she's going to be okay. just was like, she's going to be okay. Like if she doesn't want to eat, just Like if she doesn't want to eat, just Like if she doesn't want to eat, just let it be. There is a thing called let it be. There is a thing called let it be. There is a thing called fasting. um you know people have fasting. um you know people have fasting. um you know people have successfully fasted for a week or even successfully fasted for a week or even successfully fasted for a week or even longer and didn't die. She's going to be longer and didn't die. She's going to be longer and didn't die. She's going to be okay. Uh so you know there was some okay. Uh so you know there was some okay. Uh so you know there was some level of fasting not like intentionally level of fasting not like intentionally level of fasting not like intentionally that was happening that helped with the that was happening that helped with the that was happening that helped with the inflammation inflammation inflammation and then from there when we finally got and then from there when we finally got and then from there when we finally got her to be compliant because she was her to be compliant because she was her to be compliant because she was definitely being a bit difficult and you definitely being a bit difficult and you definitely being a bit difficult and you know we could attribute that to her know we could attribute that to her know we could attribute that to her being her. you could attribute that to, being her. you could attribute that to, being her. you could attribute that to, you know, the some damage uh from the you know, the some damage uh from the you know, the some damage uh from the stroke. We don't really know. But um we stroke. We don't really know. But um we stroke. We don't really know. But um we had her taking a very very high potency had her taking a very very high potency had her taking a very very high potency omega. Uh that was the first thing that omega. Uh that was the first thing that omega. Uh that was the first thing that she was willing to do. And then we she was willing to do. And then we she was willing to do. And then we started to administer a smoothie that started to administer a smoothie that started to administer a smoothie that was filled with all different things to was filled with all different things to was filled with all different things to help neurological recovery from help neurological recovery from help neurological recovery from different types of u magnesium. different types of u magnesium. different types of u magnesium. Uh we had things helping the gut because Uh we had things helping the gut because Uh we had things helping the gut because of the gut brain access. So, fiber, uh, of the gut brain access. So, fiber, uh, of the gut brain access. So, fiber, uh, different greens, different greens, different greens, and, and, and, you know, it was a whole slew of you know, it was a whole slew of you know, it was a whole slew of different things. So, essentially, it different things. So, essentially, it different things. So, essentially, it was giving her some nutrients that are was giving her some nutrients that are was giving her some nutrients that are going to help with her recovery, going to help with her recovery, going to help with her recovery, decrease that inflammation, and then we decrease that inflammation, and then we decrease that inflammation, and then we started to see a change. We started to started to see a change. We started to started to see a change. We started to see more mobility in the left side. see more mobility in the left side. see more mobility in the left side. Then, we started to uh use the the red Then, we started to uh use the the red Then, we started to uh use the the red light a little differently, using it light a little differently, using it light a little differently, using it more on the the right hemisphere. Um, more on the the right hemisphere. Um, more on the the right hemisphere. Um, and then we started to see even more. and then we started to see even more. and then we started to see even more. Then we started to see her being able to Then we started to see her being able to Then we started to see her being able to get up, move. And so essentially at this get up, move. And so essentially at this get up, move. And so essentially at this point in time, it's been about a month. point in time, it's been about a month. point in time, it's been about a month. She has mobility of the left leg. Is She has mobility of the left leg. Is She has mobility of the left leg. Is there, you know, is it strong? Is there there, you know, is it strong? Um, the left arm is slowly trailing behind, but it's not as mobile trailing behind, but it's not as mobile trailing behind, but it's not as mobile as the leg. Um, has she lost weight? Is as the leg. Um, has she lost weight? Is as the leg. Um, has she lost weight? Is she cognitively improved? Um, she looks she cognitively improved? Um, she looks she cognitively improved? Um, she looks less inflamed in her face, which means less inflamed in her face, which means less inflamed in her face, which means that the brain is less inflamed. So, that the brain is less inflamed. So, that the brain is less inflamed. So, things are moving in the right things are moving in the right things are moving in the right direction.
