"Your Labs Are Normal" — Why You Still Feel Terrible
"Normal" is not the same as "well"
Reference ranges are statistical, not clinical. They were drawn from a population that is largely unwell, and they were designed to flag disease — not to explain why you're exhausted by 2pm, reactive to foods you used to eat, or waking at 3am every night.
So when a doctor says "everything looks normal," they are usually telling the truth about the panel and nothing at all about you.
The panel is also fallible
Three hard truths practitioners rarely say out loud:
- A lab is a snapshot in time. One moment, not your pattern.
- A lab captures your state. Stress on the way to the draw — traffic, an argument, a skipped meal — changes what prints out.
- Labs are wrong a lot. Storage, processing, and human error are routine sources of bad results.
None of this means labs are worthless. It means labs are a data point, not a verdict.
What we do instead
We built our programs around a different first move: an investigative intake so detailed that the hypothesis is 99% formed before anyone orders a test. Fifteen years of clinical teaching went into that framework — questions about health, relationships, business, purpose, and family, because your biology does not live in a vacuum.
Then we stack the data:
1. Assessments — the foundation.
2. Epigenetic DNA testing — stress expressed on your DNA and organs (this is DNA Precision, not a consumer SNP kit).
3. Precise blood and urine labs — reserved for Private Concierge, where the doctor picks each marker off your intake and DNA.
A note on stool tests
If you've had a negative stool test and been told you're parasite free, know this: parasites feed on a host, and once they exit in a bowel movement they autolyse and break down. By the time the sample reaches the lab it is very often confirmed negative — regardless of what's actually going on inside you. We don't build protocols on that test.
